Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Corvia Consulting is assisting a growing Seattle plaintiff’s firm with the confidential search for a Senior Associate Attorney. 

The best attorneys are not always actively looking—but you may be ready for more ownership, greater influence, stronger client relationships, and the opportunity to help shape a firm’s growing litigation practice. 

You will work directly with the Founding Attorney, take ownership of meaningful personal injury cases, and help strengthen the firm’s litigation processes and client experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage personal injury matters from litigation through resolution 
  
• Develop case strategies and maintain meaningful client relationships 
  
• Negotiate directly with insurance companies and defense counsel 
  
• Draft, file, and argue motions in Washington Superior and Federal Courts 
  
• Draft and respond to written discovery 
  
• Conduct and defend depositions 
  
• Handle arbitrations, mediations, hearings, and settlement conferences 
  
• Prepare cases for trial when necessary 
  
• Collaborate with the team to improve systems, processes, and client service 
  
• Use technology, including Clio and AI-supported tools, to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school 
  
• Active Washington State Bar license or eligibility to waive into Washington 
  
• Personal injury litigation experience preferred 
  
• Strong insurance-defense litigators with deposition experience are encouraged to apply 
  
• Experience negotiating with insurance companies 
  
• Experience conducting and defending depositions 
  
• Civil litigation and motion-practice experience 
  
• Arbitration experience strongly preferred 
  
• Willingness to work in person in downtown Seattle
